Wine Packaging Box Design and Manufacturing Process

A wine packaging box undergoes a series of rigorous steps from design to finished product:

Proofing: After the design is finalized, a physical sample is made. This is a crucial step, used to verify the rationality of the structure, the accuracy of the dimensions, the smoothness of opening, and whether the visual effect meets expectations. Any issues are addressed and adjusted at this stage.

Material Preparation and Printing: Appropriate materials are procured according to the final design. The outer paper is printed, with processes potentially including four-color printing, spot color printing, hot stamping (gold/silver), embossing, and UV spot varnishing to enhance the visual effect and tactile feel.

Die-cutting and Gluing: The printed paper is cut into the required shape using a die-cutting machine. The grey board is also die-cut. Then, using a manual or semi-automatic gluing machine, the face paper is precisely glued onto the grey board frame. This is the core process that determines whether the box is neat and sturdy.

Inner Tray Production and Assembly: The internal cushioning materials (such as EVA, paper inner trays) are individually die-cut. The inner tray is placed in the box, sometimes with a wine bottle, for a final test to ensure everything fits properly, before being assembled or flattened for shipping.
